Recognising Local Business Women
Business Women Awards announced the 2014 winners at the Lighthouse Poole on 11th June. Hosted by Dan Mills from Heart and Tara Howard, Venus Awards Founder.
Anna-Lee-Kewley from Baby Moo’s won the Dorset 2014 NatWest Venus Awards in Category Bournemouth Town New Media & Online Business Award.
The NatWest Venus Awards Dorset Ceremony in association with Breeze Volkswagen was held on the 11th June – Hosted at the state of the art Lighthouse.
Anna started Baby Moo’s in 2010 shortly after the birth of her son with only £230 which was gathered together from selling unneeded items, She started by importing ready made items this was followed by sewing & printing her own designs, in early 2012 She was able to start having her designs made in factories in Turkey, India & recently Britain, Her designs have featured by the 3 major baby & pregnancy companies, Bounty, Mother & Baby and Emma’s Diary.
After Winning the Award, Anna gave us her feedback about the Venus Awards:
“The Venus awards have provided several PR opportunities so far, having seen my business mentioned in the press several times & online across the entire region of the South, this obviously increases brand awareness greatly & increases future customers trust in my business“.
