The NatWest Venus Awards were set up in 2009 to recognise business women from across the country.  The awards allow people to nominate a working woman of their choice.  There are a variety of categories that you can choose from, some which have sponsors.  However,  there are still a few categories that are on the lookout for Sponsors,  so if you are interested please contact:

This is the second year (and definitely not the last) that the NatWest Venus Awards have been launched at the Hotel Du Vin, Brighton .  Over a whopping 1000 nominations and applications have been received.  Clearly the stakes are high and the competition is fierce!

The amount of participation is incredible and it is all for a worthy cause.  The business women deserve recognition for their commendable talents.

It is now down to the sponsors to work their way through the mass of applications and nominations.

Tara has a clear passion for her work “We’ve invested a lot into the technology behind the Venus Awards, to make it as quick and simple as possible, for both those nominating and those finding themselves nominated,” explained Tara.

Venus Awards has been recognising and rewarding women since 2009 with the event expanding into 8 regions across the country.  Talking about the impressive growth of the Awards, Tara, herself a business woman and mother of four, commented; “It really is inspiring to see how much support and enthusiasm there is for the awards and what a difference they can make.  I’ve even had past winners confess to me that the awards have changed their lives – that’s really powerful, and drives me forward to expand, and launch the awards in new regions to recognise more deserving women.”
