Venus Awards

Recognising Local Business Women

We were extremely proud to announce the first ever Winners of the Venus Awards National Finals on Friday, the November 22, 2013.  The inaugural event was held at the beautiful Rhinefield House situated in the New Forest.  The event was hosted by the Founder of the Venus Awards, Tara Howard together with the Devon Regional Partner, Celia Delaney.

We can proudly say that this day was a huge success.  Everybody enjoyed the unique architectural features of the venue whilst enjoying a 3 course lunch that was broken up with the presentations to the Winners.

The 120 guests included past winners and sponsors of the 4 regions the Venus Awards was held in during 2013; Devon, Dorset, Southampton and Brighton.  The tables were decorated in purple and gold all adding to the splendour and the electric atmosphere of the event.

Although a little chilly, the exterior, with its impressive beauty was the perfect place to capture the day with photos of our finalists. The venue definitely exemplified what the Venus Awards looks to achieve over and above the recognition of women in business, glamour and sophistication. Filled with excitement and emotion, it was a memorable day of acknowledgement for some of the best business women in the country!

With a superb and inspirational group of potential winners in the room, each of the ultimate winners in the 16 categories on offer, shared with the rest of us their gratitude and joy for having received their title.

On a personal note congratulation must go out to each finalist as each and everyone did an amazing job to get so far and should be extremely proud of themselves.

Our mission at the Venus Awards is to ensure every women in business, be they an employer or employee feel appreciated and that the local communities really do recognise them for all they have achieved in business and life.
