CENTRE FOR BUSINESS AND CLIMATE SOLUTIONS

CBCS are supporting the Venus Awards by sponsoring the Green Business category, for a business with initiatives that consider environment. The winner will have the honour of receiving her award from Ms Rebecca Adams.

CBCS is a climate technology centre. They collaborate with world leading experts in water, energy, climate and renewable. They investigate and strategically evaluate climate impacts for your business. They can help you to adopt a more sustainable way of working and to increase the competitiveness of your business.

Based at the University of Exeter and using the skills and knowledge of this facility, the Centre has also gained the support and assistance of the region’s leading organisations focused on environmental innovation.

The ERDF has awarded the Centre £1 million to enable it to support Southwest businesses in the development of expertise, products and services to adapt to and mitigate against future climate change and extreme weather events, support carbon reduction targets, and to take advantage of commercial opportunities from climate change.
