Recognising Local Business Women

Sue Taylor Lifetime Achievement Finalist

If there is something in your life where you have got in all your time and power, I should be recognised. Therefore there is an extra category called “Lifetime Achievement”.

Sponsor of this category is the Aston Scott Group. Aston Scott Group plc has expanded over the years through a combination of organic growth, intelligent diversification and strategic acquisition. They now employ over 200 staff and operate from eleven office locations around the UK.   They take pride in building long-term relationships with clients, based on a mutual trust that is strengthened by our independent status. Their high-calibre staff are committed to investing the time required to understand each client’s business in detail, identifying areas of exposure to deliver bespoke insurance and risk management solutions.

Sue Taylor, who is a Speaker, Retreat Coach and Mentor. Sue Taylor has spent years crafting her message through personal and business coaching this then led to her giving talks to ever growing numbers. She gave her first keynote speech to a large audience in Dubai and has not stopped speaking since. By being able to take her coaching style onto the stage she has been able to empower greater numbers of people around the world. Sue Taylor moved through a damaging past, a near death cancer experience, financial ruin and seven operations of which two were total hip replacements to become a world-class coach and speaker. Her story is one of courage, moving on, taking action, embracing change and accepting responsibility. Her life clearly illustrates her philosophy – that all limits are self-imposed. Sue started where we all should – on ourselves. Throughout her speeches, coaching workshops and waterside retreat, she was repeating the same mantra; Attitude, Vision, Action, now this also follows through her speaking and online courses, moving your audience to a better place with AVA.
